Fabletics September Review

Ahhhh, I was pretty excited for this month's Fabletics picks to come up!  I love fall and fall colors and fall outfits and well, you get the point.  Right away I loved the deep jewel toned purple and gray patterns they had going this month.  Purple isnt my normal go to color but give me anything in a jewel tone and I am happy.  Since I jumped right into this month's collection, I better back track for anyone who is new to Fabletics.  Fabletics is an active wear company co founded by Kate Hudson.  When you make your first purchase you are given the opportunity to join the VIP program for some great prices!  As a VIP member you are given new boutiques each month to pick out a new outfit at the VIP price (or several outfits, no judging here).  If  you do not find something between the 1-5th each month simply click the skip month option to avoid being charged that month.  If you forget you will be charged and given a member credit to spend at any time.  I set an alarm in my phone so I don't forget (though I am usually super excited and counting down the days).  Now back to my September picks, I choose the Kalahari outfit (pictured above)!

I really think the Hawthorn tank is beautiful.  The side panels of black are very slimming and it is nice and long.  When I ordered the tank it was still warm weather so I thought I would be alright with a tank, and now in true Minnesota fashion it suddenly dropped to 50 degrees.  Oh well it is cute and fit nicely so I will just pair it with a sweatshirt.

The Kalahari outfit also came with the Salar leggings and a headband.  I love my Salar capris so I was excited to get a pair of the leggings.  The fabric is soft and has maximum compression.  These are just what I thought they would be!  One of the best things about these is I can easily use these under a tunic with boots for fall outfits as well as for the gym.  Love when I can dress something up or down!

This whole outfit was only $59.95!  I used to spend that on just a pair of pants.  Fabletics outfits start at $49.95 and you can get your first outfit for half off!  Thats right, I said HALF OFF!  This means to try it out you can get an outfit for $25, and if you feel it isn't for you, you can cancel anytime.  I joined back in February and have been loving it!  Did you get an outfit this month?  What did you pick?

Fabletics August Review + Half Off

I love my selections for Fabletics this month and I couldn't wait to get my hands on them!  For anyone who is not familiar, Fabletics is an active wear company founded by Kate Hudson.  You can enroll in their VIP membership, where you will get even better prices on high quality active wear.  As a VIP you will have new selections each month on the first (they also release new outfits on the 15th) and you will have five days to pick an outfit or skip that month.  In the event that you forget to do either they will charge you $49.95 for you to spend later.  I set an alarm in my phone for the first and again on the fifth so I do not forget (though usually I am way to excited to forget!). Of course you are also able to cancel anytime.  Anyways onto the fun part

For my August pick I went with the Meadow outfit.  It is a three piece selection and I also got one add which is why I have an extra piece in my the picture ;).  These were all new pieces for me (except the headband) so I couldn't wait to try them on!  Shipping took the normal week to get here.  Not the fastest shipping out there but they are consistent.

Fremont Tank - I ordered this tank in a Medium instead of a small because it is fitted.  In most of the fitted tops I am more comfortable in the size up.  That said, I love the fit of this tank!  The material is soft and stretchy so the medium fits wonderfully.  It is also nice and long, I really hope to see more colors in this tank next month!

Havana Coverup - This is my add on and as you can see it is gorgeous!  I love the cut out on the back and it looks awesome over my Fremont tank!  I went with a small on this one since the reviews said not to size up and it fits great.  This is one instance where I was super thankful for the reviews on the Fabletics website.  I am only sad I didn't get it in white too, what was I thinking?!?

Hamilton Sweatpant - These are a little out of my box and to be honest I am not sure what I think yet. I love the material, it is super soft and I really want to like them but I wish they were about 2-3 inches longer.  I knew from the picture they sat above the calf muscle so it is my own fault.  I am keeping them because otherwise they are great.  I have a weird thing about my calves, maybe I can get over it since they are so comfy.

Headband - I have a few of these headbands and they are nice for when my hair is out of control.  They do slide around a bit so they might not be great for every activity but  like them!

The Meadow outfit was $49.95 and my add on was only $9.95 so once again a fantastic price!  I used to spend that much on just one pair of workout pants so I am very happy with the price.  I also think the quality is great so it's a win win!  If you are new to Fabletics you will also get your first outfit for 50% off when you sign up as a VIP!  I am very happy with this month's selections and I can't wait to see what they come out with in September (and of course the mid month release!).

Fabletics Review + July Picks +Half off First Outfit

Normally I do just one review a month, but I could not resist the mid month release this June!  It was like Fabletics read my mind when they created these pieces!

Seriously, look at these super cute tops!!  Obviously I "had" to order when these were released mid month, just in case they sold out before the first (learned this lesson the hard way in May).

Moa Jacket - This was simply adorable when I saw it online and it is even better in person!  I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed in hopes of more colors in this style.  It is made from a super light weight mesh, so it is perfect for spring, summer, and fall.  I have been needing something in a lighter weight to throw over my tanks and this is now my go to piece!

Oula Tank - If you read my June review then you know I had gotten this tank in another color.  I had put it that review I was hoping for mint julep and here it is!  This time around I did order up one size so that it fits just a bit looser and longer (a medium instead of a small).  Now I saw that they released a purple and a gray in the oula, which is awesome!  Oh, this is one of my favorite tanks I have tried and I highly recommend it!

Ayni Sports Bra - This bra has slightly padded cups which is super nice.  I like the color (mint julep is my favorite!) and the fit is great.  You can't see in this photo but the back is a racer back, which is great since most of my tanks are racerback.

Alright I am not a selfie expert, but I wanted to show how nicely these tops fit!  I think the Moa jacket really dresses up the tanks for running errands and going out.   I am very pleased with these purchases and if you would like to try  Fabletics, you can get your first outfit half off!   Fabletics outfits start at $49.95, and yes that is a whole oufit!  I am very pleased with the style and quality of  Fabletics and love how affordable it is.  Also they now have their July picks up so now is a great time to hurry over and pick out something cute!  Sizes can go fast so if you see something you love don't wait too long!  Below is one of the outfits I am thinking about this month!

Fabletics Review June 2014 + 1/2 off First Outfit

Fabletics is a monthly subscription for fabulous workout wear!  While most subscription services send a surprise box of goodies, Fabletics lets you pick an outfit each month.  If none of the outfits appeal to you, there is also the option to skip.  Each month they post new outfits on the 1st of the month (I set a phone reminder to shop right away) and you have until the 5 th to buy or skip.  If you forget your card will be charged $49.95 which you can spend anytime.  Anyways onto this months selections!
It was hard to narrow it down but this month I went with the Cavalier outfit.  I have been eyeing the salar capris for awhile so I was excited to get a pair.  Fabletics ships Fedex smart post and usually takes a week to arrive.  I ordered on the 1st and received it in the 7th so a week exactly.

Salar Capris - I seem to have forgotten to take a separate picture of the capris, oops.  Anyways I have the Lima flex capris which are medium compression and these are maximum compression.  The feel of the fabric is great, very soft!  I love the compression, feels great knowing you are all held in :). I always think the smalls feel a little tight right away but I think they will loosen a bit since the Limas did.

Adventura Tank - I love the mint julep color this tank is in!  It is a cotton tank and has great length.  The only thing is it is pretty thin, I will have to layer another tank under it (otherwise it is see through). The arm holes are  a little large as well but since I am layering a tank under it that will not be a problem.

Sevan Sports Bra - This is my first Fabletics sports bra so I guessed on size but the medium works perfectly for me!  I like the material and of course the color!  I am not so sure about the strap around my neck but I might just not be used to it.  There are a few other styles I now NEED, lol!

While ordering my outfit this month I just couldn't say no to a couple extras ;). Here are the two tops I added on.

Ouula Tank - This was one of their $9.95 add on items this month and I am so glad I got it!  This tank is made an amazingly soft material that I will need more of.  I am keeping my finger crossed for some new colors in this because the bright yellow isn't my color.  I think they also had black which I will probably get next month if they don't have new color (here's hoping for mint julep!).

Palisades Wrap - I am kicking myself for not buying mid month in May when they had this in mint!  It is super cute and lightweight.  I like how nice and long the sleeves are, I would love to see this come in more colors.

The cavalier outfit this month was $49.95 for three pieces!  Fabletics VIP outfits start at $49.95 but you can get your first month half off!  I love the clothes I have gotten, the price is right and you aren't sacrificing quality.  Fabletics also has an awesome rewards program where you get points for referrals, reviewing items you've purchased, and points for buying!  It doesn't take long to add up to a free outfit (mine was free this month, yay!). Have you tried Fabletics?  Which outfit did you pick this month?

Fabletics Review May 2014

Fabletics is fast becoming one of my favorite subscriptions!  For those that don't know, Fabletics has a monthly VIP program where you can pick out a workout outfit(s) each month.  A unique perk of Fabletics is you are also given the option to skip between the 1-5th if you do not find an outfit you would like that month.  I have yet to skip a month because I have always found something!

Since you pick your own outfit each month they do not send an information card.  It usually takes about a week to receive my outfit once I have ordered.  A lot of their May outfits had tanks and shorts but I already knew I wanted a bootcut (it is still cold in Minnesota).  Hopefully by next month the weather here will be calling for shorts and tanks ;)

Forward Tee ($19.95) - this looks a little purple in the photo but it is actually a nice gray.  I picked this tee in orange last month and I liked it so I got it in gray (I already have a cute mint tank to put underneath so I will have some color).  They did have this in a pink as well if you wanted a brighter spring color.

Daru Bootcut ($49.95) -  I am in love with this pant!  The fabric feels amazing and I love the compression.  The daru bootcut comes in three different lengths short, regular, and long.  I got the long which is a 33 inch inseam.  I will definitely have to get more of these!

Fabletics monthly outfits start at $49.95 and go up from there.  This outfit cost me $49.95 (well actually it was free with my reward points, yay!) and shipping is free! If you would like to give Fabletics a try you can get your first outfit for 50% off!  You can also try out their clothes without becoming a VIP but you will have to pay their regular prices which are still great (this outfit would have cost me $69.90 without a VIP membership). I recommend the membership because you will be hooked (and if you aren't you are able to cancel at any time)!  I can't wait to see what will be new next month, I am hoping for something in mint!
