Weekly Wishes

The Nectar Collective

This is my first week linking up with The Nector Collective for Weekly Wishes.  This is a post to set some goals (realistic ones) for the coming week.  I thought this would be a great idea since I tend to do better with lists.

~ I would like to make a cleaning schedule to try and keep me on track (and keep the house cleaner).  I have made attempts before that just ended me with me spending three hours side tracked on Pinterest.  Also I should add a spring cleaning list to work on too.

~ Speaking of pinterest I found a fun idea to try with Amelia, yogurt painting!  Yes that's right, mixing yogurt with kool aid packets to make baby friendly paints.  In my head this is going to be fun and a great photo op, hopefully that is how it translates to real life :)

~ Finish sorting and organizing Amelia's room.  I started going through her drawers and taking out the clothes that are too small but I never actually finished.

~ Start organizing my craft room.  To be clear the goal is simply to get started, not finish.  That would not be realistic, trust me, it's a mess.

~ Choose a new book to read.  It has been a while since I have read a good book.  I love reading and usually read all the time but lately I have just been busy.  Time to make a little me time!

~ Make a meal plan.  I am so sick of the same dilemma every night, "what do you want for supper?". I think if we just planned it out, things might go more smoothly.  I also would love to find some great new recipes (preferably fairly easy dishes) because I feel like we eat the same thing over and over.  Anybody have some great suggestions?

Alright I think this list might be a little ambitious, but it all needs to get done.  Wish me luck!

What are your goals this week?

  1. Hi Amanda, I've been doing the Weekly Wishes link up for many months now and I love it. It's so motivating and the community is awesome. Love your daughter's name, my sister's is Amélie (the French version). What kind of books do you like to read? Have a nice week and good luck with these goals ;)
