Julep Hello Summer Welcome Box Review + Free Box + Deals

With a free welcome box (you pay $2.99 shipping use code freebox or mavenbff), trying Julep seemed like a no brainer!  Right away we are off to a good start with their 2-4 day expedited shipping!  I love when boxes get here super fast because, well, I am not always patient.  It is a fantastic way to try out some of Julep's products!  It will sign you up for their monthly subscription which is $24.99 a month.  Each month the Maven window opens up on the 20th and you have until the 24th to customize your box (that's right you can pick which colors and products YOU want!). You can skip once every 6 months incase you don't find anything you want that month.  Of course you can also cancel anytime.  This is their Hello Summer welcome box so I was hoping to see some fun summer colors. Now onto the box...

Normally you pick from their five different box styles but this is a special 5 piece welcome box so mine was a surprise!  Right off the bat I was happy to see colors I did not have (although I don't have many colors so that's pretty easy!).

Evelyn - It Girl ($14/$11.20) - This is a deep purple creme color and uses their oxygen technology that let's your nail breath.  All Juleps polishes are 5 free as well.  This is a pretty color and I will probably use it more in the fall.

Tatum - Bombshell ($14/$11.20) - This metallic chartreuse also uses their oxygen technology and is 5 free.  I think this color is gorgeous, in fact I already used it for my nail design on my current mani!

Ramona - Classic with a Twist ($14/$11.20) - I can already see using this lavender creme color for designs on Evelyn.  Again oxygen technology and 5 free ;)

Lip Gloss in Posh ($20/$16) - This is described as a sheer black honey color, but it is too dark for me.  I will probably pass this on to someone who enjoys a deeper lip color (I mostly stick to neutrals).

Kajal Eyeliner ($22/$10) - I am in LOVE with this eyeliner!  One side is a black liner and the other side is a brown shimmer.  It goes on smoothly and comes with the sharpener.

I am loving the Hello Summer welcome box and I am really excited for July's picks coming up soon!  The Hello Summer welcome box came up to $84 retail and $59.60 maven pricing (members get special discounted pricing and free shipping). This is an amazing value and I will definitely be getting more boxes and growing my nail polish collection.  Each month is $24.99 and contains $40+ in products and polish.  Best part is the boxes are now completely customizable!   Julep's welcome box is free (just pay $2.99 shipping) with the code freebox or bffevent.
I also ordered this May box from their shop!  I couldn't resist since I had a $15 referral credit (so share the love of Julep with your friends!) and I must have that wand!  Their new plié wand attached to the caps of the nail polish caps to make it easier to paint your nails!  I also love, love , love the colors Kam and Jules!  Kam is a vintage mint and Jules is a sheer pink and I am debating repolishing my nails even though I just did them yesterday!

DEAL ALERT!!! Welcome box plus 3 month subscription under $17!!!
I already mentioned you can get your first box free with code freebox or bffevent.  This is a different deal:
You can go to Julep and click join maven and take the style survey.  When ordering go to pay for 3 month sub ($19.99 a month this way).   Your total will be $59.97 and in the promo code box in checkout enter freegift (I believe you must use lowercase letters) which will take off $43.  It will bring your total to $18 something which on the next screen will be $16.97!  Doing it this way you don't even have to pay the shipping on your welcome box!

Also here are some codes for the Julep store:
POLISHPERK- Free polish with any order $15+
OXYGEN2- 30% off new oxygen base and topcoat duo
PERK1020- $10 off a $20+ order
SPRINGPERK - 30% off your entire order

Disclosure- I paid for this box on my own and did not receive any compensation for my review.  As always opinions are 100% my own.
