Popsugar Must Have Box Review December 2013 + Coupon Code

    My Popsugar box was waiting for me when I got home from work today.  I had already seen spoilers since my box always takes forever to get here.  Popsugar is a monthly lifestyle subscription box that sends a variety of items with a value of $100+ each month.  They really send quite a variety of different items so it is always a surprise!  Now onto the box...

    Alright I will admit the first thing that draws my eyes in this box are all the goodies!  They look so good it took a lot of self control to not open them all and start snacking right now.  This definitely looks like a holiday box and has a nice variety of items.

Ghirardelli Holiday Squares and Milk and Caramel Squares ($6 and $4) -  I love Ghiradelli chocolate and the caramel are awesome of course, but the holiday assortment sounds really good too.  I am actually thinking I might use these as stocking stuffers for Christmas (if I can resist the urge to eat them myself).  Seriously chocolate is always welcome around here :)

CC Made Caramel Corn ($4) - This looks yummy and even had pistachios.  As good as it looks this would also make a nice gift since my hubby likes pistachios so I may just save these for him.

  NCLA Nail Wraps ($16) - I am not a big fan of nail wraps. I guess technically I have never used them, but I just dont think they are "me".  These are mostly certainly festive though so they would be great for someone who likes to do their nails (I should really take more time to get mine done but I just don't).

Model Co Lash Extend Mascara ($20) - I have never tried this brand and it came at a great time since I am really not crazy about the mascara I am currently using.  Love that they sent black and not some crazy color I will never use :)

Mixt Studio Gifting Set ($9) - I like all three designs of wrapping paper they sent, and even better they included tags and twine for the full effect.  While this is not a ton of paper so I won't get really far, it will certainly get used. 

Govino Go Anywhere Flutes ($12.95) - These are not my favorite item.  I already have nice glasses and these feel more like a disposable cup than anything else.  I guess maybe if you are worried about people breaking your glasses these would be handy?  

Lulu Frost Bracelet ($110) -   This bracelet was made especially for popsugar by Lulu Frost.  Luckily I like this bracelet since this is the big "value" item.  While this isn't my favorite bracelet it is pretty  and I will definitely wear it.  I would imagine if you didn't care for this bracelet you might be disappointed.  

    I am happy to say that this is my favorite popsugar box so far (wasn't a big fan of the last one).  While there are a couple items that I probably won't use myself, I liked the chocolate, mascara, and bracelet and can't wait to wrap some cute presents.  I came up with a value of $181.95 for this box which is way more than the $35 I paid.  Popsugar boxes have gone up in price since then to $39.95 a month but they are still a great value.  Right now you can save $5 off your first box with code REFER5.  I also appreciated that while the boxes do not have a theme all the items really seemed like a holiday box.
